GBU: We're not bigger... just BETTER!
Here's six reasons why...

1

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

There are no predetermined class dates and times. Schedule is set at the start of each semester based on student availability.

2

SMALL CLASS SIZES

Musicians are grouped by age and experience level. Each student plays his or her principal instrument at all times.

3

EVERYBODY PLAYS

Bands are kept small --
1 vocalist, 1 bass player,
1 drummer, 1 keyboardist,
1 - 2 guitarists -- if you're here, you're playing! (Exceptions can be made for students who wish to play in the same band with a friend.)

4

STUDENTS PICK SONGS

Each band's repertoire is chosen by the band members, with input regarding appropriateness and feasibility from GBU's Musical Director.

5

PUBLIC PERFORMANCE

At semester's end, each band plays a full set of five songs onstage at Tailgaters in Bolingbrook. Shows are always FREE and family-friendly.

6
